Will I be charged a delivery fee?

If your location is within a 50km distance from Bribie Island, Queensland then no, there will be no delivery fees. If you are outside of this distance then a delivery fee may be required. We will let you know either way.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept deposits through Bank Transfer with no additional fees. Visa, Mastercard, and AMEX transactions accepted. Manual credit card payments will incur a fee of 2.2%. while tap and pay upon delivery will incur a 1.9%.

How do I book?

Just send us an email at slumberdownunder@gmail.com or send us a message via our socials. You can also fill out an enquiry form and we will respond as soon as we can. We work during the day so some correspondence will be after hours.

How do I pay?

We will send you a booking form to fill out and send back once we know how many tents you are after and where we are delivering to. A $50 deposit is required to secure the booking. The booking form will have these payment details. Final payment is due upon delivery. Any form of payment is acceptable except cheques.

How many tents can I have?

One theme has 8 tents. You can have from 1-8 tents though if needed, we may ne able to get creative if you do need more than 8.

A standard kit is priced at 4 tent kits. We can provide additional tents for you for $25 per additional tent upto 8 tents per theme.

Will the tents fit?

Each Tent with its bed and tray are L 220cm x W 95cm

When will you deliver/pick up the tents?

DIY Delivery/Pick Up is during the week in the evenings between 6.30pm - 8pm. We will discuss with you which of these days suits you and our team.

Full SetUps are brought on thevday and set up by our team, on Saturday or Sundays only.

PickUps are as above.

Can I add more tents after I have confirmed?

You can add additional tents on though we like to make sure this is done at no more than 3 days before delivery, if possible. We have 8 tents per theme and, if a theme isn’t already booked out, you may be able to mix and match some themes if needed, though this will need to be discussed directly.

How will I know how to style the tents if I DIY?

Our website and socials are a great place to draw inspiration and copy the same look however, if you have any questions or need some guidance, please don’t hesitate to get in contact with us.

Slumber Downunder is setting up my tents, do I need to help?

No, not at all. We are faster when we are left to set up the tents ourselves. We just ask that you have the room clean, dust free ready for us to set up. Furniture moved and pets placed away from the room where possible to stop pet hair and chewing incidents. This way we can also keep everything as clean as possible for you. Most of the time we have our two little helpers and our own setup system.

Please relax, put your feet up and let us do the hard work for you. We will let you know once we are done.

How long does it take to set up the tents?

It really depends on how many tents you have. 5-8 tents can take anywhere around 1hr to 1hr 30mins. You may take a little longer than us because we know exactly how to decorate, but we suggest making it fun and to take your time decorating. Get the kids involved - they love it!

Do I have to build the tents?

No. We have already prebuilt the tents for you, so all you need to do is pop them out and decorate them. We just ask that when you close them that you undo the ties beforehand, to prevent ripping the tent material.

Do I need to pack down the tents after the event?

It’s really handy to have all items packed down and placed back in their boxes & bags ready to be picked up however, this is not expected.

Do I need to wash the items before pick up?

Not at all, please leave this to us! We will wash all the items once we have picked them up from you to make sure nothing is damaged or colours haven’t run during the cleaning process. We also have strict cleaning standards that need to be met for health and safety reasons.
